Here is helpful information to welcome you at the cabin and answer many questions that you may have, including what we provide.
We ask that you please check in and out of Cabin by calling our office at 610-767-8680 or texting us at 610-737-4642.
Only the amount of people you reserved for are allowed entering the cabin. Cabin #1 is pet free, smoke free inside, fireworks and Recreational Gun free. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin. No drinks or food are permitted on furniture, nor writing on the walls, peeling the bark off of tree, damaging the trees and nature, littering etc. Cabin 1 has a small creek and pond. There is no swimming or fishing in the pond or creek. Please do not visit the pond or creek in the dark for you and your party’s safety.
TV is brought to you by Fire Stick TV and is provided with Prime channels, including Dish TV on the down stairs TV. There are plenty of apps already down loaded; however, please, don’t order a 7 day free trial or request apps to go for your cell phone or lap tops. Amazon Prime will send me an email, if you do.
We provide WI-FI, bed linens, blankets, pillows, bath towels, wash cloths, beach towels, dishes, pots, pans, glasses, silver ware, paper towels, napkins, 3 oz. Dixie cups, Kleenex, toilet tissue, a few garbage bags, a 12 cup coffee maker but you must bring your own filters and coffee, sugar packets and cream. We do not provide plastic or paper ware dishes, toothpaste, wash soap or hair products. However, hand and dish soap is provided.
The cabin has electric heat, air conditioners, refrigerator/freezer; oven/ stove top, microwaves, Toaster ovens and a breakfast griddle. A State Park Charcoal grill is provided if you wan to BBQ; however, you must bring your own bag of Match light charcoal, since lighter fluid is not permitted. Please do not put hot ashes on the ground. We will clean the grill when you depart. Firewood is provided for small camp fires outside and is located behind corn crib. Before you have a camp fire outside, you must check in with office for permission, due to high winds or dry conditions. For an inside fire, the wood is kept right at the fireplace. Always keep fireplace- glass doors closed. Do not start any inside or outside fires on your departure day.
For longer stays of 3 or more days, the Jacuzzi may need to get sanitized. We do not enter the cabin for this process. If you want this service earlier or later, you must call and request it. Use hose to fill Jacuzzi when low, and never turn Jacuzzi off. Do not put any type of soap, bubbles, or candles in Jacuzzi. Never sit, stand, or jump on Jacuzzi cover. Please slide hot tub cover onto the rack made just for the cover.
At your departure, please place garbage and recyclables outside in black garbage cans that we provide. Never place garbage on the porch to prevent enticement to animals. You are welcome to leave perishable and non- perishable food items behind, in case there is someone else that could enjoy it. Please keep perishable food in freezer or refrigerator. Before your departure please turn off all AC units and/or heat down to 60 degrees. Please wash, dry and put away dirty dishes.
Fire safety rules and Policies. . Always call 911 first for all emergencies & then contact us at 610-767-8680 or toll free at 1-800-893-6171. Please, no lighter fluid, fireworks, burning candles or smoking inside cabin; however, smoking outside is permitted. Please locate all fire extinguishers that are hung around the cabin, inside and outside. No fireplace fires or campfires are permitted to burn while you sleep or while you depart for the day. All fires must be made with full intentions to enjoy and not while leaving unattended. Always, keep fireplace doors closed so hot pieces don’t burn holes in carpet and start a fire. Never put hot ashes from the inside fireplace or the camp fire pits into the woods. In fact, you do not need to clean the ashes out of the fireplace or the camp pit at all during your entire stay. We will take care of ashes after your departure. For outside fires in the campfire pit, you must call for permission to have an outside fire in case we, the owners, feel it is too windy and risky to have a campfire or too dry conditions. Please extinguish all camp fires by using water before leaving it un-attended or before going to sleep. It is important to keep pillows and blankets away from the electric base- board heaters, which are located near the floor. Smoking is only permitted outside the cabin; however never throw cigarettes, lit or un-lit, on ground. Please be extra careful when using any type of oil or grease for cooking anywhere on the grounds during your stay. When cooking, make sure oven and stove top get turned off and you do not get side tracked when cooking. Fire extinguishers are placed in kitchen area and we recommend learning how to use it before cooking. Before your departure please turn off all AC units and turn heat down to 60.
